Dale Kinnersley

Dale joined the FPA in 2018 after beginning his career in the fire industry as a sprinkler engineer apprentice in 1990. He has undertaken many special risk projects in the form of inergen gaseous systems design, high- and low-pressure gaseous CO2 design, fire detection systems, foam systems, and sprinkler system design. 

Dale is responsible for suppression, technical issues, sprinkler inspections and sprinkler training at the FPA. He is also Convenor of the RISCAuthority Active Working Group, and the Suppression Systems Working Group.  

Dale is a LPCB Qualified Design Engineer, holds the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Engineering Technology, the CFPA European Diploma in Fire Prevention, and is currently studying towards an MSc degree. He is a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
