Manchester Seminar Review

10 July 2018

Over 140 members attended our 2018 Manchester Seminar, held at the University of Manchester on 4 July. Speaker presentations and images from the day are now available to view.

Our 2018 event covered a range of issues and concerns topical to the commercial insurance community including cross laminated timber construction, fire risks from lithium-ion batteries, and fire toxicity of building products.  The day also covered topics that are likely to become an increasing area of concern for insurers, including the ongoing IP switch over of the UK telecommunication infrastructure, the emerging world of drones, and the growing use of synthetic DNA to combat serious acquisitive crime.

Presentations from the day are now available to download from the RISCAuthority website.  We would like to thank all our speakers for their time and effort, and member insurers for coming along and supporting the day.

The London seminar is confirmed for Thursday 01 November at One Great George Street with programme details to be announced over the coming weeks.
