Risk Control for Biofuel Manufacturing Facilities

DATE: 09 February 2022 10:30

DURATION: 1 hour

The biofuel industry in the UK has grown from almost nothing in 2005 to one with a capacity to produce over 1.5 billion litres per year in 2021. This industry forms part of the UK strategy to reduce use of fossil fuels.

To align with the growth in size and scale of biofuel production, RC46: Risk control for biofuel manufacturing facilities has been extensively revised and broadened to cover both biodiesel and bioethanol manufacturing units, up to large industrial scale manufacturing plants.

This webinar will cover the key hazards associated with commercial biofuel manufacturing plants and recommended risk controls aligned with expectations for chemical/process sector manufacturing plants.

Delegates participating in the accredited Fire Protection Association Webinars programme can claim up to 1 CPD hour towards the CII / Personal Finance Society member CPD scheme.
