Tall Buildings Fire Safety Conference call for papers

Call for papers is now open to speak at the Tall Building/High Rise Construction Fire Safety Conference, hosted at Anticipate London 2024.

The Tall Building Fire Safety Network, organiser of the popular Tall Buildings Fire Safety Conference, will be running dedicated off-the-showfloor conference sessions on 2-4 December 2024 at Anticipate London 2024 hosted in London’s ExCeL.

Tall Building/High Rise Construction Fire Safety Conference Director, Russ Timpson said: “Following on from lots of recent high rise fires in 2024 (Valencia, Nanjing, etc) the need for fire safety colleagues to come together and capture best practice has never been more necessary.

FIREX as part of Anticipate London has always provided a great platform for this important forum. We look forward to receiving presentation proposals from anyone who has a contribution to make on Tall Building Fire Safety”.

The conference has previously been co-located with FIREX, where it attracted delegates from 28 different countries, and from 2024, FIREX will become part of a new event format – Anticipate London.

Anticipate London Group Director, Chris Edwards said: “As FIREX becomes part of Anticipate London, the event will still have a core focus on topics like the golden thread, new regulatory standards, and government legislation, and showcase products across fire detection and active and passive fire suppression.

We are delighted to have the renowned Tall Building/High Rise Construction Fire Safety Conference hosted at Anticipate London and play a core role in shaping the future of fire safety.”

The call for papers is now open, and prospective speakers can apply by sending a 300-word summary of their presentation to the Conference Director: russ.timpson@tallbuildingfiresafety.com
